When we are young our parents take such care trying to keep us healthy, but also trying to teach us how to keep ourselves healthy. Things like washing your hands before you eat, bathing or showering every day and of course brushing your teeth twice a day.
When you are young these seem like ridiculous things to have to do, but as we get older and we still do all of those things our parents taught us, maybe we realise that they keep us clean and healthy. Really the last thing you want is to have to have dental implants put in when you're 30.
Keeping your body healthy will keep you healthy and remembering the good lessons your parents taught you can help you do this. The things we learn when we are young often fall away when we are grown. Or at least we think so.
Think about all the little things you do to keep healthy. Drinking orange juice for instance or making chicken soup when you are sick. These are all things that your mother probably did for you when you were sick.
We are creatures of habit they say and most of those habits are put in place when we are children, so you can understand why your parents went to such lengths to teach you good habits.
